Lime Treatment

Balances acidic soil so your lawn can actually use the nutrients it is given.

What it is

Lime is finely ground limestone applied to the lawn to raise the pH of soil that has become too acidic.

Turfgrass takes up nutrients best when soil pH sits near neutral. When soil turns acidic, fertilizer becomes far less effective, because the grass simply cannot absorb it.

Why it is commonly used

  • To correct acidic soil identified by a soil pH test.
  • To help fertilizer work the way it should, so every application goes further.
  • To support stronger roots and healthier, more even color over time.

Signs it may be time

  • Fertilizer seems to have little effect
  • Moss appearing in the lawn
  • Thin, pale grass despite regular care
